Entrance Cards for Visitors
Entrance cards are available to some Libraries visitors. These cards only permit the use of resources while in the Libraries' buildings. They may not be used to borrow materials or to access resources remotely.
Applications for Entrance cards are accepted Monday through Thursday at the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (The cards are issued by the Claremont Card Center Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.).

Day Passes
Those who visit the campuses infrequently may apply for a day pass at the Honnold/Mudd Library Welcome Desk on the day of their visit. Day passes are available for up to two days each semester with the summer recess treated as a third semester. There is no fee.
Entrance Cards
Members of the following groups may apply for the privilege of on-site use of the collections, NOT including borrowing of materials for use outside the Libraries. There is a one-time fee of $5.00. Applications for entrance cards are accepted Monday through Thursday at the Honnold/Mudd Services Desk from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (The cards are issued by the Claremont Card Center Monday through Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
- Alumni of The Claremont Colleges
- Residents (ages 18 and older) of Claremont (zip code 91711)
- Spouses of currently enrolled students of The Claremont Colleges
- Students of Claremont High School or the Webb Schools upon recommendation of principal or librarian AND completion of a library instruction session by librarians at Honnold/Mudd Library. This program is coordinated by the the Libraries and the local high schools.
Access to Special Collections
For scholars and others needing limited, short-term access to the collections, special arrangements for more than 2 days per semester may be made through the office of the Director of Libraries or directly with the Special Collections librarian.
Access to the US Government Depository collections
Extended access to the U.S. Government Depository collections may be arranged by contacting the office of the Director of Libraries or the manager of the collection.
