Brian became interested in libraries while working as a clerk in the early 70's for Pomona College's Geology Library. After receiving his MLS degree, he was hired as Reference Librarian. He currently coordinates operation of Sprague Library on the Harvey Mudd College campus and Seeley G. Mudd Science Library on the Pomona College campus. These two libraries are part of the four libraries, which in combination with Denison and Honnold/Mudd, are called The Libraries of The Claremont Colleges.

Jason sees science librarianship as an opportunity to use his passion for teaching critical thinking and background in the life sciences to further develop the role of the library in learning, teaching, and research. In addition to developing and teaching two literature-based courses in biology, he has extensive experience with Endnote, and has spent much of the past year developing library electronic resource instruction programs for undergraduates and researchers in the life sciences.

Jezmynne's subject specialties include astronomy, computer science, engineering, physics, math, meteorology, oceanography, and geography. Jezmynne holds a Master's in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor's degree in history and classical philosophy from the University of New Mexico. In addition to her expertise in science and history, Jezmynne is an excellent storyteller who is always looking for an opportunity to weave a tale.
