
Student Employment
Honnold/Mudd Library employs about 75 students during the academic school year and around 10 students during the summer months. Students perform a wide variety of library assignments under a three level classification system. Student assignments vary among the Libraries, across library units and within units. All are hired on an hourly basis, work-study and non work-study.Students are employed in every unit of the Library; including, Circulation, Interlibrary Loan, Government Publications, Information and Research Services, Special Collections, Materials Handling, and Library Service Officers. The hourly rate is determined by the level of task in each unit. Available positions are posted at the entrance in the stairway of Honnold/Mudd and applications can be picked up at the Library Administration Office on the 2nd floor.
