CRL is a consortium of North American universities, colleges, and independent research libraries. The consortium acquires and preserves traditional and digital resources for research and teaching and makes them available to member institutions through interlibrary loan and electronic delivery.
The libraries of the California Institute of Technology; California State Polytechnic University, Pomona; The Claremont Colleges; Occidental College; and Whittier College have formed the G4 Consortium to develop new information services for our students and faculty.
The Oberlin Group is an informal consortium of the libraries of 75 selective liberal arts colleges. The primary purposes of the consortium are to discuss library issues of common concern, share information on best practices in library operations and services, license electronic resources of interest to member institutions, and cooperate in resource sharing.
OCLC Western, a division of the Online Computer Library Center (OCLC), Inc., provides training and support to West Coast OCLC members.
The Statewide California Electronic Library Consortium (SCELC) was established in 1986 to develop resource-sharing relationships among the libraries of private academic institutions in California.
